Roscoe and Amy Bartlett oversee and coordinate missions opportunities at Calvary Chapel Belfast.
Their desire is to provide meaningful ways for our church family to serve locally and globally.
Participation is encouraged, and current opportunities are posted on the Missions Board in the church entryway.
Our local outreach focuses on building relationships within
our community and church through service, evangelism, and discipleship.
Projects have included:
• Building a handicap access ramp for an elderly resident
• Providing tech support for seniors
• Stacking firewood and assisting with transportation (medical appointments, groceries)
• Operation Christmas Child and other local needs Regional & Global Missions
2025 • Continued local outreach and missions involvement • Ongoing partnership with Propelling the Gospel (PTG) — an aviation ministry to teens in New England. Roscoe and Amy serve on PTG’s board, and each summer PTG hosts Fly-Out Camp in southern Maine, where CC Belfast members help teach Bible studies and assist with aviation activities.
2024 • Asheville, NC – Hurricane disaster relief • Operation Christmas Child – Packing parties for Kids’ Church • JAARS – Missions at the Airport (Pittsfield, ME) • Rock Ministries (Philadelphia, PA) – Youth ministry, outreach, and homeless ministry • Special Hope Network (Zambia) – Administrative support, training, Bible study, and outreach to families of children with intellectual disabilities
2023 • Hosted a Missions Conference featuring 13 ministries • Ongoing participation in the Calvary Chapel Northeast Missions Conference (Philadelphia)
